We do not accept medical insurance as payment for any service. All payments are made directly to the practice at the time of service.
We can, however, provide a detailed receipt for all services rendered. You may submit this to your insurance company for potential reimbursement under “out-of-network” benefits.
This question comes up a lot. And it makes sense for busy or working people. We are available on weekends and evenings on a case-by-case basis, with priority to those in the VIP program.

Yes, on a limited basis.
In select circumstances, fees may be adjusted based on need and availability. We take special consideration for military personnel, veterans, first responders, and those with financial hardship. Any fee adjustments must be agreed upon in writing prior to the start of care.

Tele-services can offer several advantages, including higher efficiency, greater convenience, and more personalized care.
Convenience, accessibility and expediency — allowing patients to receive specialist insight from the comfort of their homes, eliminating travel time; eliminating busy offices with sick patient.
And if the patient wants a care provider or loved one to join the consultation from far away, we can easily bring that person into the visit on the video call so we can do it together.
Dr. Ellenbogen is a board-certified neurologist and board-certified sleep-medicine physician. These are national certifications, whereas medical practice is regulated at the state level.
Dr. Ellenbogen provides consultative services in all 50 states, offering recommendations that you and your local treating clinician can implement.
If you live in a state where Dr. Ellenbogen holds an active medical license (and, when applicable, a DEA registration), he may also be able to assist directly with ordering tests or prescribing as part of practicing medicine in that state.
